SENSET UNITY, 2024

As with many of my projects, this series is about the communal feeling of playing soccer in a team. My initial approach was to capture the warmth between players and the friendships that flourished. However, I quickly discovered that the moments I sought to capture didn’t occur as I expected. Instead, I experimented with color, sunlight, and angles to convey this warm feeling without relying on the typical group laughter and hugging shots. The result is a range of images that collectively showcase the essence of what this team meant to me. Special thanks to Emma for allowing me to capture you on the pitch.
