There was a moment, somewhere between lockdowns, when the city exhaled. For a brief time, we were allowed to come together again, to move freely, to laugh in the open air, to feel each other’s presence beyond a screen.

Seeking began there. After months of distance, I longed for connection—real, messy, joyful connection. I gathered a group of people in Amsterdam’s green spaces, not with a fixed plan, but with an invitation: come as you are, bring your energy, let’s create something together.

The result wasn’t just a photo series. It was a day of movement, of shared rhythms and spontaneous joy. A quiet reclaiming of space, of community, of each other. What came out of that moment lives in these images, a reminder of how much we need one another, and how beautiful it is to be seen, side by side.
